How to replace phrases with more precise vocabulary

1. Very Serious - Grave.

Ex: "The news of the earthquake was grave."

2. Very Competitive Cutthroat, Fierce.

Ex: "The business world can be cutthroat."

Ex: "The competition was fierce."

3. Very Dangerous - Perilous, Hazardous

Ex: "The journey through the jungle was perilous."

Ex: "The chemicals are hazardous to your health."

4. Very Crowded - Bustling, Packed.

Ex: "The city was bustling with people."

5. Very Confused – Perplexed, Baffled

Ex: "I was perplexed by the question."

Ex: "The mystery baffled the detectives."

6. Very Worried - Anxious

Ex: "She was anxious about her son's safety."

7. Very Difficult - Arduous, Laborious, Challenging.

11. Very Scared – Petrified, Terrified, Mortified. 

Ex: "She was petrified of heights."

12. Very Clean – Spotless. 

Ex: "The house was spotless."

13. Very Clam - Serene, Tranquil. 

Ex: "The atmosphere was tranquil."

14. Very Ugly – Hideous, Unattractive

Ex: "The creature was hideous."

15. Very Quick – Rapid, Speedy

16. Very Tired – Exhausted, Weary

17. Very Happy - Elated, Overjoyed, Ecstatic
