Answer:

"There is Another Sky" is a beautiful poem by Emily Dickinson, an 19th century American poet renowned for her unique style and introspective themes. She lived a lonely life and most of her poems are motivational and philosophical. 'There is Another Sky' is an inspirational poem. It is a Petrarchan sonnet of fourteen lines consisting of two stanzas – an octave of eight lines and a sestet of six lines.

Through this poem, Emily addresses her younger brother, Austin, and urges him to return home. Home is depicted here as another world, a garden, an ideal place.

The title itself suggests the existence of an alternative realm, a place of solace, serenity and tranquillity of one’s home.

The central theme of the poem revolves around the idea of hope and inner peace. This "another sky" symbolizes the untainted inner peace and love of a sibling that helps us take refuge from the hardships of reality and fight evils of life

Dickinson’s style & language is short and direct and if often characterized by its brevity, simplicity, slant rhymes and unconventional capitalization and punctuation. The poem has Poetic devices like Metaphor, inversion, hyperbole, onomatopoeia and alliteration.

The Encouraging & inviting tone of the poem conveys a message of hope and the belief in a better life. The poem conveys a message that no matter how bleak the external world may seem, there is always a place within us where beauty and calmness reside and we should not be affected by the challenges of tumultuous world and tackle it with a positive attitude.

I like this poem as it is simple and anybody can relate to the emotions expressed in it also it passes an important message of optimism when the poet denoted The brighter garden for choices that life offers to all.
